This is very good to use on 5/8” pins and it into a 1” holes usage. As these will hide within the 3x3” uprights, so normal steel is good enough and no need for stainless. I have spray painted mine with Rust-Oleum paint to give them protection to corrosion.

This is a great item and extremely useful! My only problem is the PRICE, It needs to be much cheaper and also needs to come 4 in a pack, not 2. Since that's the amount that people will actually need. And maybe the current price, with 4 in the pack will be appropriate. If I didn't have the money to spare I'd have a VERY hard time deciding to buy. Outside of that it's great.
